We believe travel is a journey of self-discovery, an invitation to step out of the ordinary and into a world where every path taken is an incredible route.
Incredible Routes was never built to be just another travel company. It began in 2009 with a quiet rebellion—against soulless itineraries, checklist tourism, and the idea that you need to leave India to be transformed.
We believe the journey within—within the country, within the self—is where the real magic lies.
Founded by Renuka and Kripi Sharma, a mother-daughter duo who've spent their lives chasing rivers, folk songs, train windows, and untold stories, we craft routes that are personal, offbeat, and fiercely local. We don't sell what we haven't experienced. We don't copy-paste plans. And we definitely don't believe one size fits all.
You'll find us drawing maps on napkins, tracking forgotten temples in the hills, and convincing students to trade a DJ night for a fireside Baul performance. We build our journeys like our stories—layered, surprising, and full of meaning.
This isn't just travel. This is how we make sense of the world.
Come, take the long way with us.
No pre-set packages. Just experiences tailored to people.
For Renuka and Kripi, travel isn't just a profession—it's a philosophy. They don't design itineraries from behind a desk; they build them from the ground, through lived experience and unfiltered curiosity. From remote mountain villages to coastal backwaters, they have walked the paths they now invite others to discover.
Renuka's love for travel began long before it became a career. She read maps the way others read novels—charting routes in her mind, tracing stories through valleys, peaks, and river bends. With a degree in Statistics from Lady Shri Ram College, she wasn't just academically sharp—she was also the president of the dramatics society and an active member of the hiking club, going on formative, life-altering treks across the Indian Himalayas.
At the age of 45, she returned to college to pursue a Master's in Travel Management from Sri Venkateswara College in 2007. This wasn't a pivot—it was a long-overdue step into something she had always been doing for friends and family: crafting thoughtful, unique travel experiences.
She continues to bring that same fire to every journey. Known for being the first to demonstrate any adventure activity—be it rappelling, river-crossing, or leading a high-altitude trek—she leads with skill and contagious enthusiasm giving students a fun challenge and the adults around her some serious inspiration.
Kripi is Renuka's elder daughter, and by the age of ten, she had already travelled more of India than most adults had at the time. We're talking early '90s, pre-Instagram, when travel wasn't aesthetic—it was visceral. The kind of travel where you packed light, stopped where the road ended, and collected stories, not souvenirs.
She studied Electronic Media at Madras University, then returned to Delhi in 2009, balancing a media career with supporting her mother behind the scenes at Incredible Routes. By the third year of the company, it had outgrown its modest beginnings—and Kripi stepped in full-time.
A gifted storyteller, skilled driver and avid solo traveller, Kripi has covered most Indian states either behind the wheel or on her beloved motorcycle, Speedy Dhanno IV. Whether mapping out logistics or spinning a tale around a campfire, she makes every route both safe and unforgettable.
Their journeys are rooted in first-hand knowledge, built with empathy, and driven by a belief in the power of meaningful exploration. This is why travelers return year after year—to plan their next adventure, or simply to reconnect with the kind of travel that reminds you why it's worth stepping out again.
We have always believed travel to be the greatest teacher of all. Since the beginning, we've challenged the idea that student travel should be about sightseeing and DJ nights. Instead, we built experiences that spark curiosity, nurture confidence, and push young people gently out of their comfort zones.
From Delhi's top colleges to select schools across India, our journeys are designed to bring students closer to the land, its people, and their own potential. We craft each itinerary to balance learning and joy—an evening of folk music for one of pop, a local meal for a café hop, a village walk for a mall-road run.
Our programs combine nature-based learning, cultural immersion, team projects, and adventure activities to teach life skills far beyond the classroom—resilience, empathy, decision-making, and collaboration. Whether it's through clean-up drives, rural exchange, or stargazing in silence, we use the world as our textbook.
Being a female-led company, we've also quietly but consistently broken gender barriers—making India more accessible for women-led groups and empowering students to explore with freedom and confidence.
For over a decade now, we've been proud to create a generation of thoughtful, responsible travelers—one incredible route at a time.
